Hardware Love-Anthropologie knobs

March 26, 2013 | House, House Decorations

One of the VERY first things I did when I moved into our townhouse was change out the knobs on all the cabinets everywhere-

I don’t know exactly why I was so insistent that it was a vital thing to do but I guess it helped me feel like the house was more “ours”.  The first round of “knobbing” didn’t go very well because I put 39 knobs on our kitchen and then decided that I didn’t like them and took them all off and then had to return them and buy 39 different ones and put those on.  But it was worth it! I really do like our knobs 🙂

All knobs from Anthropologie– some of them were also on sale!

Before we had these BORING silver metal ones that were a little too plain for me-

nothings blue about them its just the lighting in this photo

So I switched the kitchen ones to these awesome green ones

and went with feather knobs for the master bath

and then green glass ones for the guest bath

Now I want to change out the doorknobs to something more interesting

what we have now~

I like these from Rejuvenation

This black porcelain one is awesome

Also like this one in polished nickel

I love my knobs and I really do think hardware updates can make something feel alot more personalized~
