So it’s been an awesome April/May starting off with a awesome Color Run that my company actually let me do for FREE-
I invited my good friend and we seriously had a blast!
And to be totally honest it was more like a run/walk (heavy on the walking) type of run 
They blasted different colored corn starch into the air and all over us
BEAUTIFUL day
Celebrated some family birthdays! My sisters turned 18 and 25 respectively and we celebrated in style at Cane Rosso (get the Nutella Pizza!!) in Deep Ellum and Hatties in Bishop Arts.
So yummy!
Attended “A Midsummer Night’s Dream Iolanthe” that my 18 and 16 year old sisters were in (for their high school) and it was SOO FUNNY!

And had friends over for an Uptown Dinner Party (fancy name for the hubby wanting to grill)
We actually had kind of a GRILL OFF- I fixed the chicken my way and he did his way and in the end our waistlines suffered~
I used this recipe here and it was really yummy
attended a gala for the Family Compass charity which is an awesome organization that works to prevent child abuse and neglect-
it was a great night that raised money for a very worthy cause
and my puppy is 5 weeks old now and I’m almost 4 weeks away from getting her
