So my husband doesn’t think that new curtain tie backs are very vital in the overall fixing up of our townhouse but I think cool new hardware is SUPER important!
We started off with these bland tie backs on the living room curtains (curtains from the previous owners but I kind of like the color)
They weren’t bad (they actually match the curtain rod) but they just weren’t very interesting
bland
and so I bought these cute ones from Urban Outfitters
they also have a lot of other really cute ones
Love them!
and they match perfectly with the gold curtains (now to eventually change the rod)
and also upstairs in our bedroom we didn’t have tie backs on the curtains either which kept us from pulling back the curtains and getting plenty of light into the room
but the construction of the windows wouldn’t let me fit a curtain tie back on one side so I had to finagle it to work- looks a little funky but at least we can pull back the curtains!

See how in the one above I had to put it on the opposite wall and stuff the drapes behind it? Not ideal but at least it works!
As usual during the course of putting these in the curtain rod holder fell out of the drywall and we had to re-drill and put it back up…fun times..
Might change out the curtains… but haven’t decided yet- love the yellow though!
