So I have definitely struggled with acne for most of my life, stupid stupid acne…
I’ve done literally everything to try to stop the cystic stuff that would plague me and even my skin texture had gotten really scarred (from picking yes I’ll admit I’m a picker)
I’ve tried Accutane which worked but the side effects were AWFUL (weight gain and depression) and literally everything else including
antibiotics, low dose birth control, every type of face cream imaginable including Proactive/Obagi/sulfur washes/Retin-A/TCA chemical peels/other prescription topicals etc…
I’ve also purchased equipment including the Clarisonic Mia/Baby Quasar/Zeno and other random tools-
Some of these kind of worked but none of them kept me from occasionally having a really bad break out
and then my sister told me about a blog she read that mentioned Nerium AD
I thought maybe it would work but after reading reviews it was such a controversial product
(I think the whole pyramid scheme thing they have going is what is getting them in trouble)
that I kind of assumed it was going to be a huge waste of money-
But I bought it anyways and started using it every night and my skin has never looked better 🙂
I’ve been using it for about 4 months now and I don’t get any cystic acne or noticeable breakouts-
The thing I like the most is all I have to do is get my skin slightly wet, apply it and that’s all.
It doesn’t involve 10 different steps basically all I have to remember is to wash it off in the morning. This is PERFECT for me because I hate spending tons of time prepping- under a minute routine is perfect!
I barely wear any makeup anymore and yes I probably should just to look cuter but I don’t HAVE to because I don’t have horrible skin going on.
It is very expensive so that is the biggest complaint I have… and one bottle lasts probably 1 1/2 months (rather than the 1 month it states)-
I’m thinking about putting on other parts of my body too that I want to get looking better-
So far all I have is positive things to say about this product- obviously there are always risks with anything you put on your face that isn’t a natural ingredient but honestly I’ll put anything on there to keep the acne at bay
Supposedly it is derived from the Oleander flower or something which is poisonous but it’s not poisonous for your face?
Anyways I like it and I like my skin now! Poison works for me!
