I also finally did a project around the house and put up a skyline picture from our engagement photos that I had blown up on the wall in our dining room!  I used plexiglass from hobby lobby to frame it so it was pretty inexpensive and fairly easy to do- got the idea from Little green notebook

Here’s the finished product!

also bought a random horse statue from Germany off of Ebay

Might need to get a cute tray from the thrift store/home goods or something

The lamp is another Ralph Lauren lamp I bought off of Ebay

Was able to have a great start to the year with several party’s

One of which was a cocktail tasting party where each guest brought a certain cocktail they loved and then we voted on which mix was our favorite! The moscow mule won along with a hibiscus flower cocktail 🙂

Here’s how I decorate the chalkboard painted media buffet for parties-so far I’m still very happy I painted it and it has held up well

My mom also threw a fun craft (Stampin up)  workshop brunch at her place

Love the way she has decorated everything 🙂

Definitely had some cute items that you can make with the products

Went to several non-profit events that were awesome- first one was for Education Opens Doors which is a great organization that focuses on teaching high schoolers how to start looking into applying for college and what they’ll need to get done

and the other one was for Family Compass which is another great organization that helps single moms and families and works to prevent child abuse

Hopefully will be getting a couple more house projects done soon but not going to promise anything 🙂
