So May is already two haha and I’m just posting her cute nursery but I have to share!! Also if you’ve seen it already I’m sorry I’m trying to post it on the correct hosting platform..not great with technology.. It’s a cute chinoiserie inspired (with swans!) theme nursery! This was what the room originally looked like below when we bought the house- we installed hardwoods, painted it white and I installed the swan chandelier which I had bought ages ago always dreaming of decorating a girl nursery!
It was a long process to put this nursery together and it was finished just before she got here😅
Just a place to dump all of the purchases for it and Mj checking out the windows😂
Best part was already having quite a bit for it and not having to buy that much new stuff!
So I bought an awesome rh crib from fb marketplace for a great deal and it worked perfectly in the room!
I’m a huge RH crib fan since I have one for MJ as well that has held up great!
So the nursery theme just kind of came together and I love it! It has such a perfect swan/chinoiserie details that are just so perfect!
The chair was found by my sis on Facebook marketplace and then was covered in the most gorgeous fabric that was given to me by our sweet family friend Susan (who we miss dearly)
The lamp is from horchow and I bought it ages ago for my first apartment out of college~ I got the restoration hardware curtains from fb as well (and the curtain rod from Ebay)! The little garden side table is from Wisteria and they are so great because they can work inside and outside~the beautiful antique Chinese hand knitted rug was from EBay and I love it so much!
The pictures over the crib are from EBay and are antique Asian paintings on silk that I had framed at Michaels~ I’m in love with how detailed and intricate they are!
The blue trimmed bumper and crib skirt are restoration hardware and I got them on fb marketplace too (along with the awesome abc breathable mattress)~
The swan mobile is from Etsy and is a swan fan bird from Bulgaria- it is carved from one piece of wood and has a rich history!
Love the swan bust from Etsy!! Handmade from Latvia and it fits in perfectly!
Already had my changing table since it’s the other pair to MJ’s changing table that I got from Craigslist!
I love how it turned out and even put some fun wallpaper in her closet! And added an antique light in her closet~
On the other side of the room is my gorgeous chinoiserie bird trunk I found on fb marketplace and chrome/brass etagere and all of my fun dolls, fairy tale books from eBay and other Etsy finds~
And my pretty antique Japanese fan from eBay!
This was such an amazing nursery to put together and I’m so happy May has been able to enjoy it so much!
The crazy kiddos using this room currently and let me tell you it’s not as clean!
