Ok so I realize that there are a million wedding posts but I want to remember all the details 🙂
My mom and I wanted aisle decorations for the saved seating area in the sanctuary and my mom had already made these cute crochet roses for my sisters wedding~
So we made these beauties!
got the idea from these pinterest ones
And here’s how we did it
DIY Tutorial- Wedding Aisle Decorations/Pew Cones
Here’s what you need
1. Sheet music from a music book (preferably vintage) and not anything you are wanting to learn to play!
2. Poster-board type paper (stiffer than copy paper)
3. Crochet roses or any kind of faux flowers
4. Any type of filler (faux flower filler or beaded filler)
5. Pew Hangers (found here or here)
6. Craft Wire (at Michaels)
7. Hot Glue Gun
We took the posterboard and formed it into a cone then taped the sheet music over it- next we glued the cone onto the pew hangers
The craft wire we used to keep everything together and to keep the crochet flowers and beaded filler in the cone/pew hanger
We formed the flowers and filler to look like a bouquet and put it in the cone!
You can also use a ribbon to tie around the cone (I think mine fell off in this photo but it was a gray velvet ribbon)
And you’ve got awesome aisle decorations!
I can’t tell you how to make the crochet flowers because I didn’t make them *thanks mom! but here’s a link to tutorials
Also there are tons of awesome aisle/pew cones on Etsy and they’re super cute and easy to customize~
