Summer Parties 2014

So we’ve had several summer parties and one of the first one’s was mi madre’s 60th bday party!

We had a Mexican Fiesta themed soiree and it was wonderful!

Paper cut lanterns everywhere

A creepy ladybug pinata (seriously the pinata selection was not great) 🙂

A bunch of amazing food and Mexican desserts completed a wonderful party- wish I had taken more photos

we had fun celebrating!

 

Next up came a friends bridal shower

and then I threw a Little Italy themed engagement shower for another friend with some other girls

A framed chalkboard that I got from the thrift store, painted and then wrote on

our color scheme was the Italy flag colors of green, red and white

Sangria and mustache straws

My sister helped me make the mustache straws by cutting them out on the Silhouette

Food was yummy- got the Italy napkins and black and white striped straws from Amazon
