So my parents bought a new house like I mentioned in this post and I wanted to share some updates!
so here are the MLS photos
Previous owners had a thing for medieval decor
Big living room and open dining room set up with HUGE windows
Pretty moldings and definitely some good bones

Kitchen is very spacious- nice granite counter-tops
(Also has an awesome pantry)

So my parents have been doing TONS of work on it and it’s going to look FABULOUS once it is done!
First up, take all the heavy curtains off the windows= the light makes everything so pretty and the windows are gorgeous!

kitchen is getting painted white on the top cabinets
and a mushroom color on the bottom cabinets to go with the granite countertops
also the ceiling is getting redone and painted
Built in’s in the den painted white along with the walls
Sunroom is going to be a gorgeous color

Stair railings (and all the railings) getting stained a dark spanish oak color
front door getting the studs taken out and re-stained-
Stain glass windows getting replaced and the walls/ceiling painted (throughout the house)
Beautiful austin stone fireplace- light from the big windows really makes the room look so pretty
Also in the works- the study is getting re-stained and herringbone wood floors are being put in-
wood floors being put in in the master bedroom and guest bedroom as well-
bedrooms and bathrooms all being repainted
all oak cabinetry either being re-stained or painted white
some recent purchases were a beautiful Vienne bed from Restoration Hardware
as well as a dining room table
and some rugs
also got some awesome outdoor furniture from Pier One
Still got more to do but I know it’s going to look great!
They are kind of going for a spanish hacienda look and this beautiful image is definitely something to aspire too!
