So I got really hung up on wanting new marble tops for my antique craigslist nightstands-
I just couldn’t look at the maroon marble any longer- just not a big fan of this pattern and color- too drab
Also it was chipped and stained and too thin~
meh and meh
So I found this awesome (super cheap) marble company that cut me new nightstand tops for $45 a piece 🙂
I had pretty much decided right away that I wanted gray and white marble tops (kind of like carrara or maybe it is carrara I’m not sure- but I love the look) and this is what I ended up with-
close up shot 🙂
Also I’m thinking maybe, just maybe, I’ll paint the nightstands…but what color?….
I know I have a lot of bright colors going but I like it!
and the other nightstand that is rarely seen in photos 🙂
It’s on the hubby’s side and most of the time has an alarm clock that is 20 years old on it (need to get him a new one!)
Lamp is an antique from my nani with a Target lampshade and the wooden sculpture is an Ebay find from Germany
so all in all the marble tops have made me much happier-
now I’m trying to find other things to put marble on- hmmmm
