Happy Monday! Since Monday’s are definitely not my favorite day of the week it’s going to take a little “fake it to make it” pep to help me get through this day!
Back to the awesome wedding! One of the other dresses I purchased was a cheongsam for the rehearsal dinner~ A cheongsam according to wikipedia is a tight one piece Chinese dress that was made popular in the 1920’s~
I found mine on Etsy and it is a vintage piece from the 1940’s- What I LOVED about it is the print! It’s so cute with people on camels?/maybe horses with carts and houses, SO CUTE!
Here are pictures from the rehearsal with me in my cheongsam! My mom wore a traditional Chinese top as did my hubby’s mother and some other members of our close friends and family-

We also had a tea ceremony for close family and our parents-it was awesome!
All in all the dress was a hit and I’m so glad I was able to purchase a vintage piece from the 1940’s because it made it feel so much more special!
That dress has seen quite a bit of history and now its been a part of my special day as well!
